Change Management Comms Cascade
(Executive Sponsor Departure Letters to Stakeholder Groups)
Parents@,
What an amazing community you are. Ever since I joined Nate as your Executive Sponsor, I’ve been struck by how much you support and uplift each other. You’ve heard me call parents superheroes—and I stand by that description! Together we have exchanged war stories and bonded over the tender moments. As a group, we’ve worked towards policy change and have shared in the wins.
It is with a deep sense of gratitude and fondness that I share my latest news with you. After seven and a half years at [this company], I’ve decided to move on to my next adventure. Working here has changed my life for the better– and working alongside this wonderful community has enriched me as a parent and a professional.
Although I’ll be leaving [the company], I’ll always be proud of what we have been able to build together, a culture that recognizes that we are more than our day jobs and supports us as our families evolve and grow.
All the best,
D

ForeignAirs@,
As an immigrant, there’s one thing you learn quickly: celebrate endings, because they lead to new beginnings. After seven and a half years at [the company], I am heading off on a new beginning.
When I look back at my move from Ireland to the US over 16 years ago, it was the adventure of a work opportunity that called out to me. At the time, I brought with me a single small bag because I had no idea that I would be staying for more than a year! But a sense of community drew me in, and then when I landed at [this company], I found a deep well of belonging. I’ve loved working with teammates from around the world and learning from others with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
What makes ForeignAirs so special is that you help bring that global perspective every day. You highlight the value of different lived experiences–and the knowledge that comes with it– which in turn helps us further our mission of fostering connection and belonging.
Thanks again for your partnership and friendship over the last two years.
All the best,
D
