About Me

In a noisy world, it can be easy to forget that communications should be rooted in the “why.” Why leverage your voice unless you have a clear mission to connect employees, rally a crowd, clarify a position, launch a conversation or outline a vision?

As a strategic communicator, I see my role as one in which I help to isolate the “why,” define the “who” and master the “how.” I am skilled in both employee-facing and public-facing communications, with deep experience in supporting the full lifecycle of communications efforts from ideation to planning, through to execution and evaluation.

Across my professional career, I’ve combined the work of a wordsmith with the skills of a tactician. These attributes served me well in my prior work as a journalist, where the mandate to inform is matched by the need to engage. And they served me well in my past work as an attorney, a setting in which facts are a given and narrative is everything.

More importantly, my experience can serve you. Looking for a communicator who can successfully manage stakeholders across all levels of your organization? Seeking someone who can handle complexity and operate with nuance? I am well-equipped for the job.

After calling the Big Apple home for over fifteen years, I relocated to the Peach State in July of 2020. I now live in Atlanta with my husband and two children.
