In a remote-first work environment, how do you keep thousands of employees around the globe connected to a company’s mission, values and business objectives? Through the internal communications team.
In my role as an Internal Communications Manager at a tech company valued at over $100 billion, I supported a senior executive across the full range of her communications needs. I also designed and executed communications strategies to keep employees informed, aligned and inspired to create their best work. My efforts spanned all internal channels and included company-wide programs and events.
Big tech moves fast, demanding an ability to operate through ambiguity and a problem-solving mindset. Conveniently, I possess both. This allowed me to face crisis and change management situations with a strategic eye and a deft touch, working effectively with stakeholders at every level of the company.
Here is a small sampling of my body of work, including redacted samples of programming that I developed and built out while at the company.

Those who come to our platform should be able to navigate comfortably and find listings that meet their needs. Product and platform both should lead with inclusivity.”

Habitable? Are the areas where there are properties accessible? Is there clean water available? Is there a food source that people can access? Is the power on? These are really important questions we need answers to that inform our decision-making as to what kind of support we can offer.”
